Angela Davis is a long-standing political theorist, philosopher, and political activist. Her work spans a multitude of discourses from, but not limited to, feminism, Marxism, and prison abolition. A history of left political engagement, beginning with her involvement with the black panther party, anti-Vietnam War activism, and second wave feminist movements, continues with her contemporary activism.
